Join the Middle East Committee this Wednesday in a film viewing of “You Will Die at Twenty”!
The BASIS Middle East Committee is excited to announce that we are hosting a viewing of the film “You Will Die at Twenty”, a Sudanese drama film directed by Amjad Abu Alala, focusing on the life of a young man growing up in a small Sudanese village attempting to live his life while grappling with a holy man’s prediction that he will die when he turns twenty. You Will Die at Twenty was the first film from Sudan ever to have been submitted for an Oscar competition.
