Keeping active while being a student is absolutely crucial for your overall health. It is important to give yourself regular breaks where you can release some of that built-up energy and clear your head.
That is where the Sports Committee comes in! We try to provide students with opportunities to try out various sports while studying in The Hague as well as giving you a chance to socialize with new people in a different environment. We arrange various lessons, as well as opportunities to practice a sport regularly.
So far, in the fall semester of 2019, we have offered a rowing session, surfing lesson, bouldering lesson, as well as the on-going weekly volleyball practices. We also have a football, running and surfing group that get together regularly. As you can see, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and get active!
Our main goal is to provide a wide variety of activities so that all students can find something they are interested in. We create a space where people can get together and try something new and fun in good company. We might even be the ones introducing you to your new favourite sport. Who knows?
If you have any input, feedback, or suggestions for what we should organise next, don’t hesitate to approach one of our committee members or send us an email.
We hope you will join us for our upcoming events!
