Join the ASEAN at a Crossroads session in February!

During Model United Nations (MUNs) students represent different countries and try to solve real-world issues based on the policy of their country.

Primarily, you will defend the positions and policies of one of the 195 countries represented at the United Nations! In this manner, we will simulate the debate of a Security Council Meeting, or of a UN General Assembly.

The training sessions are open to anyone! No sign-up sheets, no BASIS membership required, no need to sign up for any conferences, no fancy dress code and no previous experience is needed!

About BASIS MUN Committee

Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where students take on the roles of diplomats to debate global issues, draft resolutions, and practice negotiation and public speaking. Through these simulations, participants gain a deeper understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and the complexity of global decision-making.

Training Mock Sessions

Our committee regularly hosts mock training sessions designed to help members of BASIS learn and practice MUN skills in a supportive environment. These sessions are open and free for all BASIS members, offering the perfect opportunity to improve debating, research, and teamwork skills while building confidence ahead of conferences.
