Welcome (Back) Borrel

The first week of uni has shockingly already passed by, and that can only mean one thing. The moment you have all been waiting for… the first Borrel of the academic year!
Most of you know what we are talking about, but for those who are clueless, what even is a borrel? Borrels are casual drinks in a relaxed environment while chatting and socializing. BASIS Borrels are the heart of the social life of International Studies students. Our borrels this year will offer you the perfect chance to socialize and meet new people from our course and university. Or more accurately, Borrels are just an excuse to drink and have fun with old and new faces
From this Tuesday on, we will meet once a week at a Libertijn – our og spot – for discounted drinks (the cheapest in The Hague). Non-members are welcome to join too, and you do not need to pay any entrance fee. However, the discounts are reserved only to BASIS members!
