Visit to MENA Department

The BASIS Middle East Committee is organising an exclusive visit to the MENA department of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. This is a great opportunity to get an inside look at how the Ministry operates and directly engage in foreign policy!
10:50–11:15 → Arrival, check-in, and welcome
11:15–11:45 → Introduction by MENA interns & overview of the Ministry’s work
11:45–12:15 → Case study led by MENA interns
12:15–12:30 → Short break
12:30–13:00 → Discussion on the Iran file
13:00–13:30 → Discussion on the Syria file
During the visit, we will work interactively on an exclusive case study designed specifically for our group – a great opportunity to apply what we’ve learned in a real life professional environment!
Dress code: Formal attire required!
