Movie screening: Hidden Figures” in honor of Black History month

For Black History Month, Care Committee invites you to our movie screening of the film Hidden Figures! 
This movie explores the history of black female mathematicians working at NASA in the 1960s. We also invite you to a discussion of the movie afterwards. We will ask ourselves what it means to depict a historical event in a fictional movie and what character tropes we can identify in the movie.
