Entirely free workshop session with Rosalinde Spitters of the POPcorner: personal development in challenging times.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Do you find the new “normal” of the Corona situation challenging? Is it difficult to stay organized and productive? Are you looking for inspiration to keep on motivating yourself?
Do you find the new “normal” of the Corona situation challenging? Is it difficult to stay organized and productive? Are you looking for inspiration to keep on motivating yourself?
You are not alone in this. It is a struggle to identify and overcome our biggest challenges in times of social distancing, insecure prospects, and a general impression that things are changing by the minute.
For this interactive workshop, the Career Committee has joined forces with POPcorner the Hague, of Leiden University. Together, let’s find our way in the turmoil of the current situation and help each other find the steps to developing our personal and professional skills. Reflect on the obstacles you are currently facing, engage in lively discussions with peers, and acquire the motivation you need to meet your objectives!
ABOUT ROSALINDE SPITTERS
Throughout her years at Leiden University, Rosalinde Spitters has committed continuously to students’ personal development and support. Testaments to this are the Labor Market Preparation Tutorial Module for Cultural Athropology and Development Sociology students, as well as the multidisciplinary Personal and Professional Impact elective, which she developed during her time as a Skills Teacher at the Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
Currently, she is establishing POPcorner The Hague, which aims to support students as they find their way through the campus and their course program. This is done, among others, through student support groups, individual coaching, online workshops and contributions to student4student activities, through which students can work on their personal and professional development while supporting their peers. In this role, she has joined forces with the BASIS Career Committee.
