BASIS, the one and only study association of International Studies, is happy to announce the third edition of the First Years’ Weekend! All 2018’s freshmen willing to get to know our study association, excited to meet fellow first year students, and not afraid of socializing are welcome to enjoy this weekend full of hilarious activities, crazy parties, and the best people ever. Having a good time with first, second, and third year students, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to create new friendships, make great memories together, and start of your course with loads of positive energy! Besides that, this weekend is the perfect possibility to get to know the Dutch culture, as we will be staying on a typical Dutch farm on the countryside.
Two types of tickets
We have a couple of rooms and a big sleeping hall. This means that there are two different ways to sleep. If you can bring your own sleeping mat and you don’t mind sleeping in a big attic, we advise you to buy the non-bed ticket. If you can’t bring your own sleeping mat, or you prefer to sleep in a room, we advise you to buy the bed-ticket (more expensive) ticket.
Transportation
Transportation to and from the FYW´s venue is included in the ticket price. Bus transportation has been arranged to and from The Hague. The exact departure location of the busses will be announced.
