****The Equity Project, initiated by the Study Association BASIS, seeks to achieve social change, by applying inclusive principles to all productive and social sectors at Leiden University – Campus The Hague.****
The Human Library is a project in collaboration with Reach & Teach, a non-profit organisation in The Hague, designed to help build a positive framework through which conversations and dialogue can challenge stereotypes and prejudices. Very similar to how any ordinary library works, “readers” or participants can engage in conversation and experience real-life stories, at first hand. The Human Library is a place where real people are on loan to readers. A place where difficult questions are expected, appreciated and answered. Join us for an evening of extra-ordinary stories by extra-ordinary people!
