Charity Ball – Island Paradise edition

Ahoy Matey!

Drop your pens, shut your laptops and dig out your best shades, because the Charity Ball is back this year with what we are sure will be your favorite event of the year so far: the Island Paradise night. 

ABOUT THE EVENT
The Charity Ball will this year take place at Wowbeachclub in Scheveningen, the perfect spot to forget uni and already catch a glimpse of summer. We will first start with a delicious Hawaiian BBQ buffet (with of course options for special diets); meanwhile, you will have the opportunity to participate in an auction of which the profit will go to the organization that you have chosen: Milieudefensie, a Dutch environmental organization working towards a fair and sustainable world (https://en.milieudefensie.nl/). The party will follow the dinner, so be ready to move those hips to eliminate the BBQ ribs! 
Concerning the auction, you can also participate by giving your own goods and services as material for the auction! If you have anything to offer (a nice bottle of wine, a hidden talent for poetry…), please contact India or Inès via Facebook. 

DRESS CODE
The dresscode for this event is cocktail casual (all-white, bohemian chic… – you know what suits you best -). No bikinis ladies and gentleman, and dress to impress! 

TICKET SALES
Tickets will be available on the BASIS website, as well as on campus where we will be selling at the cafeteria. The prices for the tickets are (for BASIS members, as well as non-members):  

-EARLY BIRD dinner + party ticket + 2 tokens: 28 euros.
-Regular dinner + party ticket + 2 tokens: 32 euros.

-EARLY BIRD party ticket: 7.50 euros.
-Regular party ticket: 9.50 euros.

Tickets are limited so make sure to get yours and to tell your friends! 

PROGRAM
Dinner guests will be expected from 6pm as the food will be served at 7. You will get to enjoy speeches from the committee before the auction! The party will begin at 10 pm and finish at 2, so make sure to be there on time to make the most out of it!
