Borrel n.4: Latin American Karaoke Night

Chicos y chicas,
Our first of many area borrels saw the Red Army defeating all its opponents and coming out triumphant as new Cold War World Champions (obviously not overstating). Your competitive intellectual side was satisfied by the successful pub quiz, but now it is time to feed another side of yourself, the one that has been practicing jamming to Bailando in Spanish class and shaking your hips along to Shakira in da club.
For this week’s borrel we decided to spice things up and have a double collaboration with the Latin America Committee and the Music Committee – because you know, three is better than two We will give you what you have always dreamed of deep down, and don’t be a beautiful liar, we know it’s your secret desire… Latin American Karaoke Night
Forget about midterms for one night and treat yourself to the fun you truly deserve. We are going to take you on a journey to Latinoamerica, from Puerto Rico, to Argentina, stopping by Havana-na-na. Go ahead and put the blame on us, because chances are you won’t make it to your 9am the next day. You will be singing and dancing until dawn, until your feet will hurt, but hopefully not your heart!❤️
Join us at Libertijn at 20:30 on Tuesday 16th October for a night of drunk singing and public humiliation. Karaoke starts an 9 and will last for a couple hours. We will all have a laugh with/at you and celebrate with our amazing discounted drinks, which this week will also include TEQUILA shots for 2.50 to fit the theme
And if all of this was not enough already, you have the chance of winning two free tequila shots for you and one friend by being the first one to comment with all the references to Latin songs that can be found in the description!
Remember to get your wristband from SoCo at the entrance to take advantage of the discounts by showing your BASIS sticker. And if you do not have it yet, please facilitate our job and get it at the BASIS cave at Wijnhaven. All non-members are welcome to join but cannot receive discounts.
