Borrel #3: Russian Borrel + Cold War Pub Quiz 2.0

The first of a series of area borrels this Tuesday is a collaboration with the Eurasia committee that will excite all the Soviet era nostalgics… with a Cold War Pub Quiz borrel! The pubquiz will be brought to you by the Eurasia and Europe committee – guess Europe already chose a side⚒
Who invented the term Cold War? What was the Marshall Plan? Which countries were the battle scene of the proxy wars? (Not stuff they teach you in global history huh )
Teams will battle it out to determine and crown the ultimate winner – but don’t worry, blood won’t be shed as this is indeed a cold war. Pick sides and make us of your trivia knowledge to come out victorious, because when will another chance like this be given to you?
To participate in this pubquiz, sign up as a group up to 5 people, or as an individual if you do not trust anyone in this climate of suspicion.

IMPORTANT: please bring your ID and BASIS membership sticker in order to get discounts on drinks! Come find us at the entrance as always and we will give a wristband. If you don’t have a sticker yet, please to the BASIS office on the ground floor during office hours (11-17).
