Are you itching to share your story since leaving BAIS? Do you want to help current students plan their future? Or are you looking for a casual catch up session with fellow alumni? Then join us on February 20, 7:30pm – 8:30pm at the Spanish Steps/Brasserie Wijnhaven for our Speed Dating Borrel! this cozy event you’ll be able to share your experiences and answer our students’ most burning questions. Are you ready to take the hot seat?
After the speed dating, a BAIS Hangout borrel will take place in the Brasserie Wijnhaven until 10pm. During this part, you get to catch up with fellow alumni and your old professors/tutors.
Student Speed Dating – How does it work?
We will pair you up with one or two students on the basis of your career paths and the students’ interests. In 3 or 4 short rounds, students get to probe you with questions about graduation, what it is like to apply for a job, etc. Your experience and insights can be of invaluable help to the new generation of International Studies students.

Catching up with fellow alumni
After the speed dating rounds, which will take approximately 45 mins in total, the event will go to an open borrel that everyone can join. This is your opportunity to catch up with fellow alumni and professors, while perhaps occasionally bothered by a current student that has some more questions. But no pressure, if you just want to hang out and sip wine instead of talking to students, please do so.
It is not needed to sign up for the borrel part. Only if you like to participate in the speed dating.
