AcaCom x MUNoth Workshop

The Academic Committees of BASIS and CIROS, in collaboration with the MUNOTH (Model UN of The Hague) Secretariat, have prepared a workshop for all students interested in diplomacy.
During this workshop, you will be able to practice your public speaking skills in a UN negotiation simulation. We have chosen the DISEC committee, and the topic of the workshop will be:
“Dealing with social radicalisation in light of the recent rise of lone-wolf terrorist attacks.”
In addition to negotiating a UN resolution of this topic, the Rules of Procedure of a MUN simulation will be explained. So, for all interested in getting a grasp of what the UN negotiation looks like, as well as practicing their diplomacy skills, this will be the perfect opportunity to get some extra training. After this workshop, you will surely be ready to perform as a skilled delegate at the MUN of The Hague 2020 Conference, which this year will deal with issues related to the main topic:
“Challenges to democracy: Defending human rights, empowering minorities and institutional reforms.”
