Nagorno-Karabakh has been one of the most contested and longest-running disputes in the post-Soviet territories. The hostility had been rising, and at the end of September, the fighting erupted between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Dr. Eske van Gils will explore the domestic background of the conflict, as well as the current responses by the EU and Turkey.
