Join the Academic Committee on Sunday September 20, when the Permanent Court of Arbitration will be hosting multiple webinars throughout the day to explain who they are and what their institution stands for. Founded in 1899 with the First Hague Peace Conference, the PCA is one of the most important bases of international law, providing arbitration, judgment, and counsel for disputes between states, intergovernmental organizations, and other entities. International Studies strongly emphasizes the importance of international law and consensus building and the PCA is one of the foremost institutions in the maintenance of these essential parts of modern geopolitics.
