From Nueva Canción to Bad Bunny, music has always been iconic for social struggle in Latin America— it shaped protest, solidified identities, and created a sense of solidarity and unity.
🎶✊We invite you to our interactive discussion on protest music’s significance for social resistance. Together with professors of LATAM Culture & Language and Cultural Musicology, we will learn about the history of protest sound, listen to live music, and wrap up with an informal discussion over drinks.✊🎶
