Thank you for your interest in chairing at our upcoming Model United Nations session: Asia at a Crossroads, taking place February 27– March 1, 2026.
This form is the only step you need to complete to be considered as a chair or co-chair. Applications will remain open until September 1st, 2025.
We will select chairs and co-chairs based on:
- Your experience and motivation
- Your interest in specific committees
- And overall compatibility with other applicants
💡 If you already have someone in mind you’d like to co-chair with (e.g., a friend who is also applying), or if you have preferences for the kind of person you’d like to be paired with, there’s a section where you can let us know!
📝 We’re doing something a bit different this year: Once assigned to a committee, you and your co-chair will choose the topic you’d like to work on. This will be the basis of your background guide and committee sessions, so pick something you’re excited to explore! *Note: All proposed topics must be approved by the BASIS Board before they are finalized.
🧾 Fee: There is a €20 participation fee, which helps cover: Lunch during the event, Signed Certificate, Participation, Catering through the session, Printed materials, and Other chair benefits. For full details, please refer to our Instagram post. We will ask you to pay once the selection process has taken place.
