Directed by Haifaa al-Mansour, Saudi Arabia’s first female movie director, the BASIS – Middle East Committee is excited to announce that we are hosting a viewing of her award-winning film “Wadjda”, an intimate coming-of-age story about a young girl who is willing to challenge society’s boundaries and traditions in order to achieve her goal.
