AcaCom: Decoding Blockchain
02/05/2019 @ 17:00 - 18:30
The Academic Committee is proud to present a guest lecture by Dr. Balázs Bodó, economist and research scientist at the Institute for Information Law (IViR) at the University of Amsterdam. He will join us to discuss what blockchain is, how it is applicable to students of BA International Studies, and its general importance in today’s world. Bodó will also open for questions towards the end of his lecture.
Bodó is a two-time Fulbright Scholar at Stanford and Harvard University, and a former Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow. Recently he has worked on copyright piracy and algorithmic information personalisation.
Anyone is free to attend this lecture, whether member or non-member, BASIS, IRO, or something else entirely, as long as you attend this university. See you in 3.48 at 17:00!
