We will be learning self-defence\, or Krav maga\, from one of our 3rd year I.S. students\, Nicolas van Dam.\nHe will teach us the basics of how to defend ourselves in any situation\, which are skills that everyone should know! \nThat’s why you should not let this opportunity pass you by! \nIt’s FREE!! \nThe lesson will be held in the Beehive student centre\, on the 2nd floor. \nDate: Friday 29. November 2019\nTime: 5-7pm \nYou don’t have to sign up anywhere\, all you need to do is show up. Hart Beach Scheveningen \nEarly-bird tickets: €8\,- (BASIS members) – €16\,- (non-BASIS)\nRegular tickets: €10\,- (BASIS members) – €20\,- (non-BASIS)\nExtra tickets: €12\,50 (BASIS members) – €25\,- (non-BASIS) – 10:00 – 11:30 shift!\nTickets include a 1\,5-hour surfing lesson by a professional instructor\, a surfboard and a wetsuit. \nTicket sales start on Monday 15-10 at 9.00 and are sold online on the BASIS website. \nTickets are limited\, so be quick!\nIf there are many people interested in this event\, we might be able to organise another group with 32 spots from 10.00-11.30. \nBe aware that you are required to know how to swim if you want to participate in this event. \nNote that discount at HartBeach is only possible during this event\, so do not go there yourself.
