Are you considering becoming a journalist? Do you want to write more eye-catching blogposts? Or are you looking for a more creative approach to your next academic essay? ✍️
If your answer to any of these questions is yes, this workshop is for you. In a 2-hour session, you will join American author and journalist Robert Chesal to explore how you can raise your writing to a higher level.
Some of aspects you’ll be looking at are:
* How to write a sparkling introduction that compels your audience to read beyond the first 100 words
* What keeps your writing interesting over the course of several paragraphs, sections or chapters
* How to make sure readers feel a sense of satisfaction from a story well told
Robert Chesal is a journalist, author and university lecturer. He has reported on current affairs for Dutch and international public broadcasting companies since 1990. Chesal has won multiple awards for his investigative reporting, including the title Dutch Journalist of the Year 2010. His articles have appeared in various widely-circulated publications including The Guardian and NRC Handelsblad.
